Paul Vasey is the founder of CashCrunch Games. He holds a Business Education Degree from Nottingham Trent University. He had originally launched one game (Fortune and Venture - currently being revamped) but decided that his resources needed to be tailored to more personal instances.
A former teacher of Business Studies who left the UK and is now living in California. After teaching and talking about Business, it was time to leave the confines of the classroom and walk the walk. He wanted to put what he had learned from teaching students into practice to make a difference.
He noticed that a lot of students associate money with math and were naturally intimidated. He wants to change this. People deal with money all the time. The difference is simply the number of zeros after each number. People know the basics of add, subtract, multiply and divide. With these basics, he feels that people are more than armed to change the way money is viewed and used.
In his free time, he likes to spend time with his wife, walk, body board, swim, golf, drink coffee by the beach and come up with various concepts that could be turned into reality.
A lot of people see money as math and are intimidated or just plain not interested. It is fun to spend and not worry about the consequences. Money is easily available through various channels, but it is important to respect that money and how it is used. Through these games and other resources our aim is for the user to recognize that there are choices when it comes to handling money. We simply want to raise awareness for those choices. i.e. being smart, foolish or even wasteful. You can only spend a dollar once!
Well, here through game play and various resources we will try to allay those fears and turn negatives into positives.
The sooner you understand the basics of Finance, the more empowered you will be to make decisions and plans.
Play our games and make the mistakes in a virtual world where the games can be restarted and the environment is fun and non intimidating.
